One of our favorite features about the Hussmann Dip Cabinet line is the optional D-Series. These are the dip freezers that have small doors on the serving side of the cabinet so that employees have access to the cans in storage without disturbing the cans on display. This feature is a real time saver during peak serving hours and is extremely convenient. This line is a little more expensive, but worth it. Pictured below is a DC-8 (for 8 flavors). The other models are the DC-12 and the DC-16. The model with the optional storage doors would be a DC-8-D, etc. The SG stands for Straight Glass and the CG stands for curved glass (the European look).
Design
Contemporary new design that complements the new ACCENT SERIES merchandisers. Maximum attention placed on product visibility by lowering the merchandiser front 2" and adding a glass canopy top. Improved lid pivot design and lid gasketing.
Display
Three sizes...8, 12, and 16 can displays. Also available as "-D" models with rear storage doors. Interior canopy light provides added illumination of product display. Optional can holder trays have been designed to slightly slant towards the front of the merchandiser to improve product visibility and access for easier ice cream dipping.
Refrigeration
All models feature R404A CFC-free refrigerant. Rear air intake and discharge allow front and sides of merchandiser to be built into a fixed counter area. Merchandisers can be converted to rear air intake and front air discharge if required. Condensing unit access panel design facilitates maintenance and service. Improved access to temperature control and on/off power switch. Equipped with 115 volt, 15 amp power cord.
Optional Can holder Trays
Just set containers in place. No adjustments. Each tray holds two containers and is removable for access to lower storage area without disturbing other trays. Can holders are not UL sanitation listed.
